Bannerghatta Metro to Open by Mid-Oct; BMRCL Gets ISA Cert

The Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) is set to open the elevated Pink Line at Bannerghatta Road by the second week of October. BMRCL recently received the Independent Safety Assessor (ISA) certificate for the signalling system. The corporation plans to operate six trains on the 7.5-km line, with a peak-hour frequency of six minutes and a non-peak hour frequency of 10 minutes. The line runs from Kalena Agrahara to Tavarekere and has six stations.
