Public participation necessary for holistic development of villages

Speaking at a special Gram Sabha held on Friday at the Rajanukunete Gram Panchayat hall on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, Taluk Panchayat Executive Officer Madhu L said that officials and villagers must work in coordination to solve local problems. Gram Panchayat Administrative Officer Srinivasareddy urged people to achieve cleanliness, discipline, and self-reliance in villages, following Mahatma Gandhi's ideals. Awareness was also created among villagers regarding the importance of the special Gram Sabha under the Vikashita Bharat–Guarantee for Rozgar and Aajeevika Mission project.
