HD Devegowda encourages farmers, stating he is ready to go to jail even if he loses his life

JDS youth leader Nikhil Kumaraswamy and former MLA E. Manjunath visited the indefinite fast protest by farmers in Bhairamangala village, Bidadi Hobli, and offered support. During the visit, farmer women and leaders urged HD Devegowda to attend the protest site. Speaking via video call, HD Devegowda stated that he could not visit due to severe toothache. He encouraged the farmers, saying, 'Do not lose heart, continue your struggle. I will not abandon the farmers even if I lose my life. I am ready to sit in protest in front of Vidhana Soudha and even ready to go to jail for the farmers' rights.'
