Material shortage delays Varthur-Gunjur roadwork, says Minister Krishna Byre Gowda

Greater Bengaluru Development Minister Krishna Byre Gowda stated on Thursday that the Bengaluru East City Corporation (BECC) is ready to asphalt the Varthur-Gunjur road. However, the work has been delayed due to a shortage of construction material, which he attributed to a ban on transporting materials from Tamil Nadu. The BECC will ensure the road is motorable and widen it where property owners have relinquished land.
