Silk Board Junction revamp to combine traffic improvements with public spaces

Greater Bengaluru Development Minister Krishna Byre Gowda directed officials to prepare a permanent development plan for the Central Silk Board Junction. The junction, a major infrastructure hub, is set for a comprehensive transformation, including the development of the space beneath the flyover into a functional public area. Officials also plan to develop the vacant land alongside the stormwater drain into a landscaped island with seating and shaded areas.
