MLA Kotturu Manjunath expresses displeasure over police refusing entry to supporters at his residence near CM's residence

MLA Kotturu Manjunath arrived at his residence in Sadashivanagar, Bengaluru, on October 5, for a meeting with CM D.K. Shivakumar. He was accompanied by a large number of supporters. However, the police outside the residence allowed Kotturu Manjunath entry but refused to let his supporters inside. Expressing strong displeasure over the police action, Kotturu Manjunath stated, 'I should be allowed to enter, and my ten people should also be allowed to enter, and even a hundred people should be allowed to enter.' Later, addressing the media, he clarified that he did not say 'I have no quarrel with the police' and that he had mentioned three people, not a hundred.
