Seer arrested in Bengaluru for allegedly sexually exploiting woman, threatening to kill her

Northeast Women police arrested a 45-year-old seer from Maddavanapura Devaveera Samsthana Mutt in Bengaluru on Monday. He was accused of allegedly sexually exploiting a 25-year-old woman on the pretext of marriage and threatening to kill her. The police registered a case against the seer, Nanjeshwara Shivacharya Mahaswamiji, alias Dayananda, and his brother, Jagadish. The police have also issued a notice to Jagadish for questioning.
