Court issues notice regarding the return of 'African Grey' parrot seized by CID Forest Range

A resident of Bengaluru filed a petition seeking directions to the government and CID Forest Range to return an 'African Grey' parrot seized by the CID Forest Range. The petition, filed by Rajajinagar resident R. Mahesh Kumar, was heard before the bench of Justice C.M. Poonacha. The court issued notices to the State Government Chief Secretary, Principal Secretary of Forest Department, and CID Forest Range, and adjourned the hearing to the 3rd. The court also instructed government lawyers to obtain information from the respondents and inform the court.
