Water supply disrupted in Mahadevapura; residents report lack of water for four days

The main water pipeline in the Garudaachar Palya area of Mahadevapura–Whitefield road, within the Mahadevapura constituency, has been blocked, causing a lack of water supply to surrounding areas for four days. Residents allege that the main pipeline was blocked without the BWSSB's notice for laying new pipelines. The disruption has affected areas including Garudaachar Palya, Lakshmi Sagar, RSB Colony, Kaveri Nagar, Singayyana Palya, Maheshwari Nagar, Shakti Layout, Kanaka Layout, and Papireddi Layout. BWSSB Assistant Executive Engineer Jagadeesh stated that no illegal activity occurred and that the process of linking new pipelines has taken place, expecting the work to be completed and water supply to resume on Wednesday.
