Authorities are preparing new measures to control traffic on Avenue Road in Bengaluru's KR Market. Police have restricted the entry of auto-rickshaws and handcarts to the Avenue Road. Officials are considering banning goods vehicles during peak hours, allowing transport only at night. A final decision on whether to completely ban or time-restrict goods vehicles will be made soon after discussions among traffic police, GBA officials, and local MLAs.
