Bengaluru lab aims to repurpose unused textile waste

A new facility, 'The Circular Textile Lab,' has opened in Koramangala, Bengaluru, to prevent unused textiles from ending up in landfills. The initiative, spearheaded by architect and artist Nisha Mathew, received support from Ramalinga Reddy, minister of forest, ecology and environment. The lab has already provided training and employment to women from underprivileged backgrounds, with 45 women initially trained and 15 currently working at the facility.
