Local residents to stage human chain against Raghigudda–Kanakapura elevated corridor

Local residents, led by the owners' welfare association of Vaishnavi Paradise Apartment in Jayanagar, plan to stage a human chain on the 11th at 11:00 AM. The protest will take place near Rose Garden in 6th Block, Jayanagar. Residents argue that the proposed corridor will damage green cover and may obstruct water supply. They also stated that the elevated corridor is unnecessary in a residential area, citing legal restrictions on work over the Cauvery pipeline.
