Illegal sand transport: Tipper and sand seized in Jayanagar

Police seized a tipper and several loads of sand used for illegal transport of Hemavathi river sand in Jayanagar, Hole Narasipuram. The police, led by ASP Shubham Pawar Suresh, arrived at the scene on the night of October 4, following information regarding illegal sand transport and storage. The tipper belonged to Pandu from Channarayapatna, and the seized sand was handed over to officials from the Mines and Geology Department.
