Car rams lorry on NICE Road; driver killed, 4 family members injured

A 44-year-old transport agency owner was killed and four family members were injured after his car rammed into a lorry on NICE Road on Monday morning. The deceased, D Ramesh Kumar, a resident of Jalahalli, was returning to Bengaluru with his family. The accident occurred around 6:30 am between the Mysuru Road and Magadi Road toll plazas. Ramesh sustained severe head injuries and died on the spot. His wife and three children were injured and admitted to a nearby hospital.
