Damage to Saranga Ranga Cultural Center Building Sparks Outrage in Malur

Railway police conducted a demolition drive at 8 shops near Masti Circle, Malur, using a JCB machine on Saturday. The action also caused damage to the adjacent Saranga Ranga Cultural Center building. Folk singer and former president of the State Folk Academy, Pichhalli Srinivas, stated that the center, which he established in 2020, is a public cultural hub. He expressed concern that the building was damaged by the sudden use of a JCB machine, leading to protests from the cultural community.
