Electrical short circuit destroys 6 acres of sugarcane crop in Hebbal

A short circuit in an old electrical pole wire caused fire to destroy approximately 6 acres of sugarcane crop in the Hebbal settlement area between Dhulakheda and Hattalli. The affected crops belonged to farmers Bheemashankar Biradara (2 acres), Kantappa Vithal Biradara (2.5 acres), and Gurusiddappa Biradara (2.5 acres). Former MLA Devananda Chavhana visited the site and inspected the damage.
