Walkers’ association opposes coffee shop construction in Cubbon Park

The Cubbon Park and Lalbagh Walkers’ Association has opposed the construction of a coffee shop in Cubbon Park. Association president S Umesh Kumar alleged that land near the Cubbon Park metro station was allotted to a private party, violating rules. The association demanded an immediate halt to the construction and restoration of the site as green space.
