MLA K. Nemarajananayaka demands increase in SC, ST reservation

MLA K. Nemarajananayaka stated that the state government must take necessary steps to increase the reservation percentage for SC and ST. Speaking at the Valmiki Putthali on Monday, on the occasion of Maharshi Valmiki Jayanti, he demanded that the reservation for SC should be increased from 15% to 17%, and for ST from 3% to 7%. He also advised the state government to convince the court that has stayed the increase in reservation.
