Work begins on Sadahalli overpass to improve connectivity to Bengaluru airport

Work has begun on constructing a vehicular overpass at Sadahalli Junction on NH-44 to remove the only signal between Hebbal and the Kempegowda International Airport (KIA). The 700-metre-long, six-lane overpass, which will improve traffic flow, is scheduled for completion by mid-2027. The Rs 35-crore project was awarded to Vidya Infratech Pvt Ltd in January 2026.
