Women voters from Vijayapura demand action against MLA for allegedly declaring them dead

Three women voters from Vijayapura traveled to Bengaluru on Wednesday to accuse BJP MLA Basanagouda Patil Yatnal of falsely declaring them dead and seeking deletion of their names from the electoral roll. They demanded criminal action against him. The women stated that Yatnal, in a letter to the deputy commissioner dated August 31, sought deletion of their names among 1,054 voters in his constituency, despite the names being included in the draft electoral roll published on August 24.
