Bengaluru Winter Races to Begin Sunday, Featuring ₹13.96 Crore Total Prize Money

The 2026–27 Bengaluru winter races, originally scheduled to start on November 1, will begin this Sunday (N.8). The races will feature additional days on Friday and Sunday. BTC announced that the winter races are being organized with the continued support of Jaware S. Punawal, who has been a sponsor of Bengaluru horse races for many years. The total prize money for the 24 winter race days has been set at ₹13.96 crore. The prestigious winter Derby race will offer a prize of ₹1.5 crore, and the minimum prize for the 1,000 guineas, 2,000 guineas, and Oaks races is set at ₹50 lakh each.
