Unauthorized temporary arrangements by priests in Bengaluru temples

The Department of Religious Endowments noted that priests in temples under its jurisdiction are making temporary arrangements without obtaining authority permission during periods of absence. Hindu religious institutions and Commissioners of Dharmadaya endowments stated that obtaining permission from the competent authority is mandatory. Complaints have been received from devotees regarding mismanagement in the administration of temples, including irregularities in rituals and mismanagement of donations.
