Three arrested, 2.75 kg gold seized at Bengaluru Airport

DRI officials arrested three individuals, including two foreign travelers and one airport staff member, at the Kempegowda International Airport. The operation resulted in the seizure of 2.75 kg of gold. The arrested individuals were identified as Mohammad Akhil, Mohammad Nasir, and airport staff member Abhin Josh. The officials stated that the trio planned to hand over the illegally brought gold to Abhin Josh while changing planes at KIA. The DRI has also conducted previous seizures, including 1.201 kg of gold worth ₹1.75 crore and 7.460 kg of hydroponic cannabis worth ₹2.61 crore.
