Thousands of lawyers protest outside High Court over series of attacks

Over 1,000 lawyers protested outside the High Court on Tuesday, demanding proper security and strong legal protection against the series of lawyer attacks. The protestors displayed placards and threw leaflets in front of Vidhana Soudha, causing traffic disruption in the area. The protest was organized jointly by the Karnataka State Bar Council and the Bangalore Bar Association (BBBA) following incidents of attacks on lawyers in Whitefield and Mangjunath/Annapurneshwari, and an attempted murder of lawyer Venkataramana Sannakki in Gouribidanur.
