Tender invited for traction and electricity supply for Bengaluru Suburban Rail Project

A tender has been issued for the traction (electric traction system) and electricity supply for the Bengaluru Suburban Rail Project, covering the second and fourth corridors, including the Solahadevannahalli Depot. The estimated cost for this package is ₹986.50 crore. The tender covers key electrical and traction infrastructure, including receiving substations, cable connections from grid substations, 25 kV AC traction and 33 kV auxiliary substations, 25 kV overhead equipment (FOCS), and SCADA systems. The bid submission deadline is November 20.
