Tender for 9 flyovers in Bengaluru cancelled due to rule violations; traffic relief delayed

The Greater Bengaluru Authority (GBA) has cancelled the tender for 9 flyovers planned to solve Bengaluru's traffic issues. The high-level sub-committee cancelled the entire tender process due to serious rule violations and lapses found during the tender process. The committee, chaired by GBA Chief Commissioner Maheshwar Rao, instructed that the process be cancelled and a transparent re-tender be called.
