TCS to acquire Best Buy’s India GCC, 450-strong team to join

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) will acquire the Global Capability Centre (GCC) of US consumer electronics retailer Best Buy in India. The move involves bringing together the centre’s retail and enterprise expertise with TCS’ technology, engineering, AI and global delivery capabilities. Best Buy India, incorporated in Bengaluru in 2023, has around 450 employees working across engineering, data and analytics, and AI capabilities.
