Bengaluru Suburban Railway Project accelerates construction; ₹986 crore tender invited for 4 corridors

The highly anticipated Bengaluru Suburban Railway Project is gaining momentum, connecting the city center with suburban and rapidly developing areas. For this massive project, construction is progressing rapidly across 148.17 km. K-RIDE has recently invited global bids for a ₹986 crore package covering traction and power supply systems for Corridors 2, 4, and Soladevannahalli Depot. The four corridors—Sampige (41.40 km, 15 stations), Mallige (25.01 km, 14 stations), Parijata (35.52 km, 9 stations), and Kanaka (46.24 km, 19 stations)—are progressing with various stages of work.
