Student groups protest in Bengaluru against voter list revision, demand removal of CEC

Various left student organizations, including AISF, AIDSO, KVS, AISF, and SFII, protested at Swatantrya Udyan in Bengaluru on Saturday. The protest was against the Special Integrated Revision (SIR) of the voter list and in support of the ongoing struggle in Delhi. Protesters demanded the removal of Chief Election Commissioner Gyananish Kumar. Police initially detained the protesters who attempted to march to the State Chief Electoral Officer's office before releasing them.
