State government launches 'e-Aasthi 2.0' for simpler, faster e-Khata services

The state government has officially launched 'e-Aasthi 2.0', a portal designed to simplify and speed up the process of obtaining e-Khata for Bengaluru citizens. The portal, prepared by the Greater Bengaluru Authority's IT team, was launched by Bengaluru Urban Development Minister Krishna Bairegounda on Tuesday. The new version resolves technical flaws, including document upload issues faced by the public in the first version launched in October 2024. The system allows property owners to apply for, check the status of, and receive e-Khata services online, even if they reside outside Karnataka or are Non-Resident Indians.
