State government forms high-level committee to review preparations for T20 cricket match at Chinnaswamy Stadium

The state government has formed a high-level committee to review preparations for the India vs West Indies T20 match scheduled for Saturday (17) at Chinnaswamy Stadium. The committee, headed by Greater Bengaluru Authority Chief Commissioner M. Maheshwar Rao, includes officials from Bengaluru City Police Commissioner, Youth Empowerment and Sports Department Principal Secretary, BESCOM, PWD, and KSCAC. The committee will review preparations to prevent any untoward incidents during the match, covering fire prevention, CCTV operations, medical facilities, parking arrangements, and public communication systems.
