State Government Confirms Commitment to Reservation Law for Kannada People in Private Companies

Labor Minister Santosh Lad stated that the state government is committed to implementing a law providing employment reservation for Kannada people in the private sector. He mentioned that the proposal, which has been under active review for the last three years, will be moved forward after consulting with other departments. The minister stated that the cabinet had approved the 'Karnataka State Employment Bill, 2024,' approximately 18 months ago, and the matter has resurfaced.
