State Bankers' Committee advises using digital services during bank strike

The State Bankers' Committee (SABC) advised customers to use digital banking services extensively during the bank strike scheduled from Monday to Wednesday. The committee stated that the call for the strike was made by the United Federation of Banks Union (UFBU) to press for the fulfillment of demands, following the implementation of a five-day work week. It also advised that necessary steps should be taken to ensure that digital banking services of all state government banks remain continuously available. Customers are requested to obtain services that must be received at a bank branch before the strike period.
