SSLC Students: PEN Number Mandatory Even Without APAAR ID

The education department has instructed students undergoing online registration for the current year's SSLC exams to provide their 11-digit Permanent Education Number (PEN) and, if available, the 12-digit APAAR ID. However, the department clarified that students without an APAAR ID will not face any difficulty in exam registration. SSLC nodal officer Lakshminarayana stated that students can register for the exam using only the PEN number, even if they do not have an APAAR ID.
