Special Sessions Court rejects ex-Army man's plea for recusal in criminal case

A special sessions court in Bengaluru rejected an application by B Boopalan, a 'party-in-person' from the city. He had sought the special judge's recusal from hearing his criminal revision petition. The court rejected his complaint, noting that there were no prima facie materials to satisfy the ingredients of alleged offences. The special court of magistrate rejected his private complaint on December 1, 2025.
