Bengaluru South City Corpn cleans 709 vacant sites in two months

Under the Freedom from Waste campaign, the Bengaluru South City Corporation cleaned 709 of the identified 1,242 vacant sites over the past two months. The corporation has initiated strict action against the owners of 533 vacant plots and issued notices to 372 plot owners. Owners are directed to install proper wire fencing and maintain cleanliness to prevent garbage dumping. The corporation also provided a division-wise breakdown of cleaning efforts across South, Bommanahalli, BTM, Padmanabhanagar, and Jayanagar.
