Six arrested for allegedly assaulting spa staff and extorting ₹1 lakh in Bengaluru

Vidyaranyapura police arrested six people, including four women, for allegedly assaulting spa staff and extorting ₹1 lakh. Police seized ₹80,000 in cash, seven mobile phones, a car, and a two-wheeler used in the crime. The incident occurred at a spa and salon on Vidyaranyapura Main Road in Nanjappa Layout. The accused allegedly entered the establishment on the night of October 3, accusing the staff of illegal activities and threatening to publicize allegations on social media. They reportedly extorted ₹1 lakh from the spa owner before leaving.
