Silent protest against Ragi Gudda–Kanakapura elevated corridor; Residents protest Indiranagar elevated corridor

A silent protest was held on Sunday in Jayanagar, led by the Kalyana Sangha of Vaishnavi Paradise Apartment owners, against the Ragi Gudda–Kanakapura elevated corridor. Over a hundred people, including youth and senior citizens, displayed placards with slogans like ‘No elevated corridor,’ and ‘We need trees, not traffic congestion.’ Residents expressed concern that the proposed corridor would affect homes, gardens, and neighborhoods, and obstruct the Kaveri water pipeline route.
