Short circuit causes loss of lakhs of goods in Srinivasapura

A short circuit at a home in Ramakrishna Badavane, Srinivasapura, caused lakhs of household items to burn on Sunday evening. The fire started with the fridge due to a high-voltage electricity surge, spreading quickly to other parts of the house. According to Venkat Raghavendra, the incident resulted in a loss of approximately 6 to 7 lakhs, affecting items like TVs, fans, and kitchen appliances. BESCOM officials arrived at the scene to conduct an inspection.
