SC, ST Employees Association urges state government to pressure the Centre on reservation issues

The State Government SC, ST Employees Association demanded that the state government pressure the Centre on reservation issues. The association held an emergency meeting on Tuesday to review the High Court's decision, which cancelled the increase in reservation quota from 50% to 56%. The association decided that the state government must file an appeal to the Supreme Court against the High Court's ruling. They also resolved to submit a memorandum regarding the matter to the sub-committee meeting scheduled for the 15th, and to urge the government to take necessary steps for the state to file the appeal.
