‘Samskruti Sangama Award’ announced for 2026

The Dr. C. S. Somashekhara and Smt. Sarvamangala Sahitya Seva Pratishthana announced the ‘Samskruti Sangama’ Award for the year 2026. Appageere Thimmaraaju was selected from the Janapada field, M.S. Ashadavi from the Vachana literature field, H.N. Muralidhara from the Das literature field, and K.V. Nagarajamurthy from the cultural organization field. The award for the music field was conferred upon Gadagada Vireshwara Punyashrama. The award ceremony is scheduled for 5:30 PM on the 28th at the Gandhi Bhavan on Kumarakrishna Road. Adichunchanagiri Math's Nirmalanandanatha Swamiji will preside, and Deputy Chief Minister G. Parameshwara will present the awards. Retired Supreme Court Judge Shivraj Patil will chair the event.
