RSS must apply correctly for processions, said Priyank Kharge

Home Minister Priyank Kharge stated that instead of writing a letter to the police asking for cooperation in a procession, one must submit an application in the prescribed format to seek permission. He advised that organizers must wait until the proper application for the procession is approved. The RSS had submitted letters to the police station heads of Nandini and Mahalakshmi Layout areas in Bengaluru for a Vijayadashami procession on the 25th. Kharge noted that writing letters to police stations regarding processions across the state is different from applying for permission. He emphasized that proper procedure is required for seeking permission, not just asking for cooperation.
