Rifle shooting gains popularity among Bengaluru residents

Rifle shooting has gained popularity among Bengaluru residents, with many pursuing it as a recreational or after-work activity. The Prakash Nanjappa Shooting Academy at Bengaluru City University opened in May and has received over 1,000 enquiries, with around 750 people visiting the range for training. Eklavya Sports Shooting, located on Bannerghatta Road, has seen interest rise by about 25% over the past three years. Vivekananda Rifle Shooting Academy in Hebbal sees around five recreational shooters on weekdays, and 6-7 participants on weekends.
