R. Ashoka accuses Congress government of corruption in waste management tenders in Bengaluru

R. Ashoka, leader of the opposition in the Vidhana Sabha, accused the Congress government of corruption in waste management tenders in Bengaluru. He stated that the government has allegedly violated the KTPP Act, leading to crores of rupees worth of scandal. Ashoka also alleged that the government ignored economic department orders and rules, awarding contracts up to 14% premium instead of the 5% limit.
