Greater Bengaluru Development Minister Krishna Bairegound stated that active public participation is essential for finding permanent solutions and improving the quality of civic services, including waste disposal. He noted that improvements are needed across the entire system, from waste collection at homes to disposal. Bairegound also stated that the process of segregating waste at the source (wet and dry) is not being properly followed.
