Protest held at Bengaluru's Freedom Park against atrocities against Dalit community

A protest was held at the Freedom Park in Bengaluru on Thursday, led by the Karnataka Dalit Sangharsha Samithi (Ambedkar Vada), condemning atrocities against the Dalit community. Protesters demanded that the government hold a special session to discuss the issues of the Dalit community. They also demanded that the state government file appeals in cases where the Supreme Court grants bail to accused persons under the SC, ST Atrocity Control Act.
