Protest held at bank over alleged misuse of funds, demanding investigation and action

Leaders of the Samana Manaskara Vedike held a protest in front of the bank on Friday, demanding a comprehensive investigation into the alleged misappropriation of funds at the Mathoshri Hemaraddi Mallamma Souharda Cooperative Bank. They also demanded a criminal case against those responsible for the suicide of the bank's president, Basanagowda Patil Marakal. The protest highlighted that the bank's management board allegedly misused ₹16.5 crore, and demanded immediate repayment of funds to depositors.
