Protest held in Bengaluru against proposed release of Kaveri water to Tamil Nadu

Kannada Sena, Karnataka Rakshana Vedike, Raitha Sangha, and Jai Karnataka Parishat workers protested on Friday by blocking the main road at J.C.V.R. Circle in Bengaluru. They gathered at Jayachamarajendra Circle and blocked the Bengaluru–Mysuru Old Highway, protesting against the Kaveri Water Control Board's recommendation to release 4,000 cusecs of water daily to Tamil Nadu.
