Protest in Bengaluru demands cancellation of SIR, resignation of CEC Gyananish Kumar

Thousands of people gathered at Bengaluru's Freedom Park on Thursday, staging a massive protest against the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the voter list. Participants demanded the cancellation of the SIR and the resignation and arrest of the Chief Commissioner of the Election Commission, Gyananish Kumar. During the protest, a 'Janata Nyayalaya' (People's Court) was held, which served as a witness to the plight of those affected by the SIR process.
