Priyank Kharge defends Urdu Habba celebration at Vidhana Soudha steps

Priyank Kharge, Minister for Rural Development and Panchayat Raj and IT-BT, strongly defended the proposal to celebrate Urdu Habba at the steps of the Vidhana Soudha. He questioned the opposition, stating that Urdu is one of the languages of the land, and suggested that both Hindi and Urdu festivals should be celebrated. Kharge also questioned the opposition's focus on religious issues, urging them to discuss people-centric matters like farmers' problems, unemployment, and the country's economy.
